Orange Ex-Services’ Club is one of the largest and most charitable organisation in the region; and we’re looking for Members to nominate for the Board of Directors in 2019.

The Club needs enthusiastic people of all ages and backgrounds to serve our club and community as Directors.


Eligible Members wishing to express an interest in nominating for the position of Director of the Orange Ex-Services’ Club Ltd are required to attend a free two (2) hour course of instruction facilitated by Orange Ex-Services’ Club on Tuesday 12 February 2019, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, in the Morotai Room of the Orange Ex-Services’ Club.

Important information about the role, expectations and legal responsibilities of a Director of Orange Ex-Services’ Club, as well as the rewards and professional development opportunities, will be provided at this session.

Bookings are essential, with RSVP’s closing 24 hours prior to the session.


In accordance with the Club’s Constitution, eligible members wishing to nominate for a position on the Governing Body of the Orange Ex-Services’ Club Ltd, will be ineligible to be nominated for election to the Board if that member has not received the “Independent Nominations Committees” endorsement, for nomination.

Applications to the Independent Nominations Committee open at 9:00am on Tuesday 12 February 2019 and close at 5:00pm on Tuesday 26 February 2019.

Interviews will be conducted for short listed candidates on Monday 4 March 2019. Successful candidates for interview will be notified by the Chairperson of the Independent Nominations Committee in regards to the specific interview time.
